Name:
Kainops raymondi Age: Lower Devonian Formation: Haragan Formation Location: Coal County, Oklahoma Size: Rock is 4.1 inches across Price:$49.00
This is a very interesting trilobite from the Devonian of Oklahoma. The trilobite is a very detailed example of Kainops raymondi. This type of trilobite is differentiated from Paciphacops by the larger number of lenses in the eyes. The inflated bug is well preserved in a curled position, and looks like "Pac-Man"! The fossil has excellent color and contrast and is beautifully showcased on the large, sculpted block of limestone. This is a very fine specimen of a curled Kainops from the Haragan Formation.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
