This is an uncommon Olenellid trilobite. It is a fine Nephrolenellus geniculatus from Nevada. This type has a taller-than-wide head and small glabella - this specimen showcases these features beautifully. This trilobite is nicely inflated and has very fine detail preserved. And, best of all, it is a split pair - the counterpart is intact and included for no charge. This is a very cool positive/negative example of this unusual Lower Cambrian bug.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
