This is a fabulous trilobite fossil. It is a complete, unidentified Asaphid trilobite from the Ordovician of Morocco. This trilobite is nicely inflated and 3-D. The bug is wonderfully articulated and exhibits excellent detail. The striking dark brown color of the trilobite is fully natural and contrasts beautifully with the brownish matrix plate. And the fossil even has the other half of the split pair present - the part and counterpart are included here together. This is a cool split pair trilobite that displays both halves beautifully.
