Here is an excellent double specimen of Elrathia marjumi from the Marjum Formation of Utah. This species of Elrathia is much rarer than Elrathia kingi. Both outstretched trilobites are wonderfully articulated and exhibit outstanding detail. Both free cheeks are present, and even the small pygidia are intact on both bugs. The crescent-shaped eyes are easily seen, and the individual thoracic segments are clearly defined. The ancient arthropods display fine color and contrast and are well showcased on the large plate of shale. This is a very fine pair of this unusual species of Elrathia from the Middle Cambrian.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
