Here is a beautiful Moroccan trilobite. This is a wonderfully-prepared Paralejurus dormitzeri from the Devonian. This sleek trilobite is slightly contraflexed and very nicely articulated. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. It is very 3-dimensional and exhibits wonderful detail. The large eyes are well displayed and the pleurons terminate in sharp points. The fossil has great, dark coloration that contrasts nicely with the brownish-gray matrix. The bug is well positioned on the large, rounded plate of limestone. This is a gorgeous specimen of Paralejurus dormitzeri from Morocco.
