Here is an unusual trilobite from South America. This is Parabolina argentina from the Ordovician of Argentina. The trilobite is nicely articulated and shows fine detail. The individual thoracic segments are very distinct. The long genal spines are easily seen. Even the tiny pygidium is well displayed. The bug has good color and contrast. It is well presented on the compact piece of matrix. This is a very detailed example of Parabolina argentina.
