Here is a very nice multiple plate of trilobites from Utah. These bugs are Elrathia kingi from the Middle Cambrian. There are three complete specimens present on the plate. All of the fossils are natural to the plate - none have been added. The trilobites are well articulated and exhibit fine detail. All three examples have the free cheeks present and tightly attached, which is highly unusual. The black fossils contrast nicely with the gray matrix. They are wonderfully centered on the large, natural plate of shale. This is a very "clean", multiple specimen of Elrathia kingi from the Wheeler Formation.
