This is a very unusual trace fossil. There is a trilobite trackway and an unidentified trail on the plate. The trilobite tracks (bottom) have good detail. It is easy to follow where this bug was going. The other trail is sort of an enigma. It curls around in loops, then back again. What strange behavior! This is a collectible plate of Mississippian trace fossils from Indiana.
