This is a "genuine" Cambropallas telesto from the Cambrian of Morocco. This type is one of the most faked or reconstructed trilobites from Morocco. This specimen has no reconstruction. Both part and counterpart of the trilobite are present although the counterpart is not pictured. This very large specimen of Cambropallas is complete and nicely articulated. Both free cheeks are real and tightly attached. The crescent-shaped eyes are nicely displayed. The trilobite has a nice, dark orange, limonitic color that contrasts well with the lighter-colored matrix. It is beautifully centered on the plate of matrix. This is a very nice, extremely large Cambropallas from the Cambrian of Morocco.
