Here is an outstretched example of Kainops raymondi from the Devonian of Oklahoma. Kainops differs from Paciphacops in having a larger number of eye facets. This trilobite is nicely inflated and shows good detail. The individual lenses of the eyes are well displayed. The fossil has great color and contrast. It is nicely positioned on the semi-squared block of matrix. This is a fine Kainops raymondi from the Haragan Formation.
