This is a very "clean" specimen of Odontochile hausmani from the Devonian of Morocco. The trilobite is nicely inflated and somewhat contraflexed. The thick exoskeleton preserves very fine detail. The large, crescent-shaped eyes exhibit the individual facets. The broad genal spines are very long and extend almost to the pygidium. The dark brown arthropod contrasts nicely with the lighter-colored matrix. It is well centered on the somewhat rounded plate of limestone. This is a pretty specimen of Odontochile from Morocco.
