Here is a nice specimen of Proetus granulosus. This specimen is from the Devonian of Morocco. The trilobite is large and extremely inflated. The bug is wonderfully articulated, and both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The trilobite exhibits very fine detail. The large, bulbous glabella is very pustulose. The eyes of the trilobite are quite prominent. The trilobite has excellent color and contrasts nicely with the lighter-colored matrix. The specimen is well positioned on a somewhat squared plate of matrix. This is a very cute Proetus granulosus from Morocco.
