This is an excellent specimen of Piochaspis sellata. This trilobite is from the Middle Cambrian Chisholm Formation of Nevada. This specimen is very tightly articulated and exhibits fine detail. The free cheeks are present and both genal spines are intact. The eyes of the trilobite are easily seen. The trilobite is nicely centered on the brown shale matrix. There is also a Zacanthoides cephalon on the back side of the plate. This is a very collectible specimen of Piochaspis sellata.
