This is a beautiful plate of Ordovician fossils. There are two complete Ceraurus, numerous bryozoans, crinoid stems, brachiopods, and even a Calliops trilobite tail on the plate. The two Ceraurus are immaculately preserved. One is complete and outstretched, while the other one is complete, but prepared ventrally. The hypostoma (mouthplate) is easily seen on the ventral specimen. The dorsal specimen has the pustulose texture of its exoskeleton fully preserved. The trilobites are nicely centered among the myriad of other sea floor fossils. This is museum quality trilobite plate that showcases both dorsal and ventral views beautifully.
