This is a beautiful specimen of Treveropyge prorotundifrons from the Devonian of Morocco. This trilobite is almost perfectly prone and has great articulation. The bug is very 3-dimensional and exhibits fine detail. The huge compound eyes display the individual lenses in wonderful fashion. This ancient arthropod has great, thick exoskeleton. The trilobite has been prepared in high relief. The fossil has excellent color and contrast. It is well centered on the rounded block of limestone. This is a very aesthetic specimen of this unusually large-eyed trilobite.
