This is a fine specimen of an unidentified trilobite. Until more scientific work is done on the Cambrian of Morocco, we are hesitant to put a name on this specimen. This large trilobite is complete and very nicely articulated. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. Even the very small pygidium is preserved. The fossil has excellent, limonitic orange color and contrasts nicely with the grayish-green matrix. It is well positioned on the natural plate of matrix. The counterpart of this trilobite is also present, although not pictured. This is a very pleasing specimen of this unidentified trilobite from the Cambrian of Morocco.
