This is a very inflated specimen of Aristoharpes sp. from the Devonian of Morocco. Harpid trilobites are among the most sought-after trilobites in the world. The huge cephalon with the long, flowing genal spines wrapped around the body make this trilobite an exquisite display piece. This trilobite is complete and exhibits fine detail. The small eyes are easily seen. The broad brim of the cephalon displays the finely-pitted texture of the exoskeleton. The tiny pygidium of the trilobite is intact. The bug has excellent color and contrast. It is well positioned on a large, somewhat rounded block of limestone. This is a very affordable specimen of this beautiful Harpid trilobite.
