This is a very nice trilobite from Pennsylvania. It is a Cryptolithus from the famous Swatara Gap locality. This type of trilobite is in the trinucleid family, which is very uncommon in the United States. This specimen has very good detail. The highlights and pitted fringe of the trilobite have a beautiful natural orange coloration. The bug is nicely centered on the natural matrix plate. This is a very fine Cryptolithus from Southeastern Pennsylvania.
