Here is an excellent plate of trilobites from the Rochester Shale. This plate is all natural, no compositing of specimens has been done. There are two extremely rare Radnoria sp. and one Bumastus ioxus on the plate. The Radnoria are complete and nicely articulated. These trilobites have great, thick exoskeleton and exhibit fine detail. Both have the free cheeks intact and tightly attached. The long genal spines are complete to the very tips. The eyes of these trilobites are easily seen. The Bumastus is also complete. These trilobites share the slab with a number of 3-dimensional, branching bryozoans. The fossils have great color and contrast. They are well presented on a large, natural plate of matrix that measures approximately 4.5" X 5.5". This is a one-of-a-kind specimen from the Silurian of New York.
