Here is a very nice Onnia sp. from the Ordovician of Morocco. This Trinucleid trilobite is wonderfully articulated and exhibits fine detail. The large, bulbous glabella is easily seen and the EXTREMELY LONG genal spines are beautifully displayed. The pitted margin of the cephalon is unusually well preserved. The individual thoracic segments are clearly defined and the wide, triangular pygidium is intact. The fossil has excellent color and contrast. It is well presented on the rounded plate of matrix. This is a very detailed example of Onnia sp. from Morocco.
