Here is a nice specimen of Piochaspis sellata. This trilobite is from the Middle Cambrian of Nevada. This particular bug does not get very large. This specimen is very nicely articulated and exhibits fine detail. The free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The outwardly flaring genal spines are nicely displayed. The eyes of the trilobite are easily seen. The trilobite is nicely centered on the squared plate of matrix. This is a very "clean" specimen of Piochaspis sellata.
