This is a beautiful trilobite. It is a large, wonderfully articulated Drotops megalomanicus from the Devonian of Morocco. The sway-backed trilobite is extremely 3-dimensional and exhibits fine detail. Both eyes are intact and the individual lenses are well displayed. The pustulose nature of the trilobite is easily seen. The fossil has great color and contrast. It is nicely positioned on the rounded block of limestone. This is a killer specimen of this large phacopid trilobite from Morocco - one of the best we've ever had.
