This is a nice specimen of Parahomalonotus planus planus from the Devonian of Morocco. This trilobite is extremely inflated and very nicely articulated. The fossil arthropod is slightly sway-backed and exhibits good detail. The tiny eyes are well displayed. The segmentation of the pygidium is well defined. The trilobite has great blackish color and contrasts nicely with the lighter colored matrix. The bug is almost perfectly centered on the large matrix plate. This is a fine example of this "sleek" trilobite from Morocco.
