This is a beautiful trilobite. It is a complete Phacops from Morocco. This specimen is large and outstretched. The bug is nicely centered on the large matrix plate. Both compound eyes are very well preserved. But the key feature of this trilobite is its natural two-toned coloration. The dark skin is an olive-green/brown color, while the light-colored shell is yellow. This makes for a striking display. It is a very eye-catching example of a Moroccan Phacops.
