This is a very fine specimen of Asteropyge sp. from the Devonian of Morocco. The specimen is 3-dimensional and beautifully articulated. The outstretched trilobite exhibits wonderful detail. The exoskeleton is covered with many very fine granulations. The individual lenses of the eyes are nicely displayed. The trilobite has fabulous, natural color and contrasts nicely with the brownish matrix. It is well positioned on the large block of limestone matrix. This is a very nice, large specimen of Asteropyge from Morocco.
