This is an excellent specimen of Crotalocephalus gibbus from the Devonian of Morocco. The trilobite is complete and beautifully articulated. It is wonderfully inflated and is preserved in the "crawling" position. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The specimen exhibits fine detail. The small eyes are quite distinct. The pygidial spines are very easy to see. The pleurons of the trilobite terminate in sharp points. There are even very fine granulations preserved on the glabella. The trilobite has beautiful, natural coloration and contrasts nicely with the lighter colored matrix. It is well centered on the rounded block of limestone. This is a very fine specimen of Crotalocephalus.
