This is a beautifully prepared trilobite. It is a Paralejurus dormitzeri (Type 1) from Morocco. This specimen has incredible detail. The thick shell exoskeleton of the trilobite is wonderfully preserved. The chocolate-brown coloration of the skin contrasts beautifully with the orange-tan matrix. The bug looks like it is crawling off the large, sculpted matrix block. This is a fabulous example of a Paralejurus, prepared in our own prep labs. Simply beautiful!
