This is the first specimen of this particular trilobite from China that we have seen. It is an unidentified Asaphid from the Ordovician. The trilobite is complete and nicely articulated. It has good color and contrast. It is somewhat inflated. It is well centered on a large, rectangular block of hard, reddish, limestone. This is a good example of this unusual Asaphid trilobite from China. Who knows if we will ever see another one of these?
