Here is a real specimen of Lannacus sp. from the Ordovician of Morocco. There has been no compositing or "piecing together" of this trilobite. The free cheeks are genuine and not carved into the rock. The trilobite is inflated and nicely articulated. The eyes of the trilobite are easily seen. It has good, dark, limonitic color and contrasts nicely with the lighter-colored matrix. It is well positioned on the natural plate of matrix. This is a fine example of Lannacus sp. from the Ordovician.
