This is a very nice specimen of a "true" Phacops trilobite from Morocco. This specimen appears very similar to the Phacops from the Unites States. The trilobite is wonderfully prone and beautifully articulated. The specimen is preserved in a 3-dimensional manner. The trilobite exhibits very fine detail. The large pustules on the glabella are easily seen. The individual facets of the eyes are quite evident. The fossil has superb color and contrasts nicely with the light-colored matrix. It is well presented on a natural block of limestone. This is a very pretty specimen of a "true" Phacops from Morocco.
