This is a very nicely preserved Crotalocephalus gibbus. This trilobite is from the Devonian of Morocco. The trilobite is wonderfully articulated and exhibits superb detail. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The small, beady eyes are quite evident. The large, bulbous glabella displays fine granulation. The pleurons of the trilobite have finely pointed tips. The pygidial spines are well displayed. The trilobite is very inflated. It has great, natural multi-colored exoskeleton. The trilobite is positioned on a somewhat rounded plate of limestone. This is a very detailed specimen of Crotalocephalus.
