Here is a fine specimen of Ceraurus sp. from the Ordovician of Ontario. The trilobite is complete and nicely articulated. It exhibits fine detail. The long genal spines are quite evident. Both of the long spines coming off of the pygidium are present. The small eyes of the trilobite are easily seen. The trilobite has great color and contrast. It is almost perfectly centered on a rectangular block of matrix. There are also some 3-dimensional bryozoans present on the plate. This is a fine example of one of everybody's favorite trilobites.
