This is a fabulous spiny trilobite. It is a large Dicranurus monstrosus from Morocco. This trilobite is known for its spider-like appearance. This specimen is complete and beautifully articulated. The free cheeks are intact and tight. The occipital spine "Ram's Horns" are free-standing, and the body spines are very long and symmetrical. The trilobite is very 3-D and nicely centered on the large matrix block. This is one of the most displayable specimens of this type we've had. It is a top-quality example of this classic spiny trilobite.
