Here is a good specimen of Crotalocephalus gibbus. This trilobite is from the Devonian of Morocco. This worm-like trilobite is inflated and very nicely articulated. The free cheeks are present and tightly attached. It is preserved in somwhat of a "roller coaster" position. The head is up, the front part of the thorax is down, the rear part of the thorax is up, and the tail is down. You get the picture. The trilobite has great natural color and good contrast. It is well positioned on a somewhat rounded piece of matrix. This is a good Crotalocephalus preserved in a "crawling" posture.
