This is a very good specimen of Proetus granulosus from the Devonian of Morocco. The trilobite is complete and nicely outstreched. This Proetus is 3-dimensional and well articulated. The specimen exhibits fine detail. The eyes of the trilobite are quite prominent. The pustules on the bulbous glabella are easily seen. The black trilobite has good contrast with the lighter-colored matrix. It is well positioned on a rounded block of limestone. This is a good specimen of Proetus granulosus from Morocco.
