Here is a fabulous specimen of two different trilobites from a classic "Old World" location. This specimen is from the Middle Cambrian of Jince, Czech Republic. The trilobite on the left is Ptychoparia striata. This trilobite displays very small eyes. The trilobite on the right is Conocoryphe sulzeri. This trilobite was a blind species. Both trilobites are exceptional in terms of quality. They are both 3-dimensional and totally prone. The trilobites are large for the species and exhibit fine detail. Being in such close proximity to each other makes for a very interesting display. They are positioned on a large natural block of matrix. This is one of the most aesthetic specimens that we have ever seen from this site. This is a wonderful block of trilobites from a site that is no longer accessible.
