This is a beautiful display plate of trilobites. There are two Asaphus (Neoasaphus) kotlukovi on the plate. These trilobites are from the Ordovician of Russia. Both trilobites are prone on the matrix and very inflated. They are nicely articulated and exhibit fine detail. The rich, caramel brown, color of the trilobites contrasts wonderfully with the light-colored matrix. The trilobites are well positioned on the natural plate of limestone. This is a very aesthetic specimen of trilobites from Russia.
