Here is a very good specimen of Diacalymene ouzregui. This trilobite is from the Ordovician of Morocco. The trilobite is preserved in a concretion. Both halves of the concretion are present, so both part and counterpart of the trilobite are well displayed. The two halves of the concretion fit together almost perfectly, with no major gaps, to form a rounded "ball of rock". Most of the time, the trilobites that are found in these concretions from Morocco are not very nicely preserved. This specimen is an exception to that rule. The trilobite is very 3-dimensional and well articulated. It exhibits fine detail and has a nice yellowish, limonite color. This is a nice, complete specimen of Diacalymene ouzregui.
