This is a very nice specimen of Broeggerolithus broeggeri. This large Trinucleid trilobite is from the Ordovician of England. The specimen exhibits very fine detail. The trilobite displays a huge, inflated glabella. The pitted cephalic brim of the trilobite is quite evident. The right genal spine extends far beyond the posterior of the pygidium. The left genal spine is still hidden by matrix. The trilobite is well positioned on a large, natural block of matrix. This is a very good specimen of this hard-to-obtain Trinucleid trilobite.
