Here is an unusual trilobite from England. This is Platycalymene tasgarensis from the Ordovician. The trilobite is 3-dimensional and very nicely articulated. It exhibits very fine detail. Even the glabellar furrows are easily seen. The specimen is nicely centered on a large, natural block of matrix. This is an excellent specimen of this highly sought-after Calymenid trilobite.
