This is a very good specimen of Crotalocephalus gibbus from the Devonian of Morocco. The trilobite is complete and nicely articulated. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The specimen displays good detail. The eyes are quite distinct. The pygidial spines are very easy to see. The thorax of the trilobite is prone, and the head is in the "burrowing" position. The trilobite appears to be "crawling off the rock". The specimen has great natural coloration. It is well positioned on the semi-oval limestone matrix block. This is a nice, outstretched specimen of Crotalocephalus.
