This is a very striking specimen of Isotelus mafritzi from the Ordovician of Canada. The trilobite is complete and very nicely articulated. There is some restoration on the cephalon but the trilobite displays well. The specimen is 3-dimensional and exhibits fine detail. The genal spines of the trilobite are quite evident. The protruding eyes are easily seen. The trilobite has great color and contrast. It is well positioned on the semi-rectangular block of limestone. This is an affordable specimen of a very aesthetic Isotelus.
