This is an excellent example of a Triarthrus becki from New York State. This specimen was found by Erin Hess in 1994. The trilobite is complete with both free cheeks intact, which is unusual. The bug has very good detail and nice white coloration that contrasts well with the black matrix. The trilobite is nicely centered on a natural 5.5" X 6" matrix plate. There is a cephalon of another trilobite on the slab, and part of the counterpart is even present. This is a very fine example of this Ordovician trilobite from New York.
