This is a nice outstretched example of Paciphacops campbelli. This specimen is from the Lower Devonian of Oklahoma. This trilobite is differentiated from Kainops by the smaller number of lenses in the eyes. This specimen exhibits good detail. The finely granulose glabella is nicely displayed. The eyes of the trilobite are quite evident. The specimen is extremely 3-dimensional. The natural, caramel brown, color of the trilobite contrasts nicely with the cream-colored matrix. The specimen is well positioned on the semi-rectangular limestone block. This is a fine, prone, Paciphacops from the Lower Devonian.
