This is an excellent specimen of Paralejurus dormitzeri (Type A). Type A of this species does not have genal spines like Type B. This sleek trilobite is from the Devonian of Morocco. The specimen is very prone and wonderfully articulated. The trilobite exhibits great detail. The individual thoracic pleurae are sharply pointed. This specimen has really great eyes. They are ORANGE in color. The trilobite is very 3-dimensional. It has great color and contrast. It is well positioned on the natural block of limestone. This is a gorgeous specimen of this strange scutellid trilobite.
