Here is a very good example of Paciphacops campbelli. This specimen is from the Lower Devonian of Oklahoma. This trilobite is differentiated from Kainops by the smaller number of lenses in the eyes. This specimen is outstretched and wonderfully articulated. The bug is very 3-dimensional and exhibits good detail. The granulose glabella is nicely displayed and the compound eyes of the trilobite are quite evident. The natural, caramel brown color of the trilobite contrasts nicely with the cream-colored matrix. The specimen is well positioned on the limestone block. This is a fine Paciphacops from the Haragan Formation.
