This is a fine Elrathia kingi from the Middle Cambrian of Utah. The trilobite is complete and tightly articulated. Both free cheeks are present. The specimen has been extracted from the surrounding rock so that it is completely free of matrix. This specimen would make a nice "center stone" for a unique piece of jewelry. Specimens of this trilobite have been found that were drilled, presumably by Native Americans, for use as adornment purposes.
