This is a beautiful trilobite. It is an Asteropyge sp. from the Devonian of Morocco. The specimen is very slightly arched and is nicely displayed on the large block of matrix. The genal spines and occipital spine are all free-standing. The trilobite shows exceptional detail. The compound eye facets are near perfect. The fossil has great color and contrast. This is a very displayable specimen of this Moroccan Devonian trilobite.
