Here is a very affordable specimen of Phacops speculator from the Devonian of Morocco. The trilobite is complete and well articulated. The head and body of the trilobite are very prone and the tail is tucked downward. Many of the eye facets are displayed. The fossil has fine, dark color and contrasts nicely with the lighter-colored matrix. It is well positioned on the somewhat rounded matrix plate. This is a good example of a Phacops from Morocco.
