This is an Encrinurus-like trilobite that is now being called Coronocephalus rex. This specimen comes from the Silurian of China. The trilobite is almost perfectly prone and very nicely articulated. The fossil is well positioned on a natural piece of matrix. The trilobite has fine color and contrast. The cephalon of the trilobite is covered with large pustules. This is a nice example of Coronocephalus from China.
